General Information and Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you take insurance?

At this time, MehtaPhysical Therapy has not chosen to contract with private insurances and is an out-of-network provider. Payment will be collected on a per visit basis.

  • Can you send a receipt for my insurance?

Yes, an itemized statement/invoice can be emailed after each session.

  • Will I need a prescription?

The state of Georgia does not require a prescription for the initial 3 weeks of therapy or 8 visits (whichever comes first).

Dry needling as a treatment intervention DOES require a prescription from your doctor and can be included in your prescription. If it is not specified, I can reach out to them as well and ask them to add it on and answer any questions they may have.

If you need additional care beyond 8 visits or 3 weeks, you will need a referral/prescription from your physician (your PCP, ortho, etc). I am happy to reach out to them to assist.

If you do have a prescription, you can bring it with you, email it to me, or have them fax it directly to 470-357-6985.

In addition to treatment to encourage further well-being, I am experienced in orthopedic injuries. In addition, we can discuss components of general wellness, nutrition, and any personal goals you may want to set. Feel free to take a look at my profile to get an understanding of my passion, my practice, and what I hope we can do together.
